(Jn 3:1-21)

Jesus explains to a member of a group of men who wield social power among men – those who would enslave other men by destroying , or perversely manipulating, faith in the soul – that the willing soul of a person can be independent of the earthly process: souls come from God and the willful soul can take a step back, so to speak – repent, purify, and live in the light –, and thus safeguard itself from the souls, and the fate of those souls, who choose the darkness over the light, men whose faith is in what is soulless, thereby judging themselves by virtue of their own belief, by the nature of their faith. The truth and the light are transparent, they need no audit, they do not depend on the scrutiny of men. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light, the path of the soul on earth as it is in heaven.
